Renault South Africa Has Something to Celebrate

There’s good news coming out of the Renault family — and this time, it’s not about a new model launch or a new technology feature.

Renault South Africa has achieved Gold Status at the 30th annual NADA Dealer Satisfaction Awards.

And while that might sound like another industry award, this one is particularly meaningful because it recognises something that plays a huge role in the ownership experience: the relationship between a vehicle manufacturer and its dealer network.

So, what does Gold Status mean?

Renault South Africa achieved a dealer satisfaction score of more than 75% in the Passenger and Light Commercial Vehicle category, earning the brand Gold Status at the awards held in Johannesburg on 14 July 2026.

The NADA Dealer Satisfaction Awards celebrate vehicle manufacturers that build strong, collaborative relationships with their dealer networks. In other words, it’s about how well manufacturers and dealers work together to support one another — and, ultimately, the customers they serve.

Because buying a car is only the beginning of the relationship.

From the first visit to a dealership, through the buying process, servicing and everything that follows, the overall customer experience depends on many different people working together.

A win for Renault and its dealers

For Renault South Africa, this achievement is a reflection of the strong partnerships it has built with its dealer network.

Shumani Tshifularo, Chief Executive Officer at Renault South Africa, thanked the dealers who participated in the survey and continue to support the brand.

“This recognition would not have been possible without the invaluable participation, trust and ongoing support of our dealer network.”

And that really is the important part of this award.
